See in the state I live in we can't do that, however an adjacent state has the "King of the Castle" law and I wish I had moved there- people think twice about doing things there.

Why ESPN?

For the second year in a row, they have ruined the outcome of the World Series of Poker main event by putting the results on the main page. For a poker nut like me, I like to watch the whole damn thing and see how it plays out. Yes, its 10 weeks, but 10 weeks I'll be watching ESPN and that makes me a guaranteed viewer. Instead, I may just turn it on to watch Scotty Nguyen's meltdown.

And yes, ESPN got a nasty comment from me saying why not just link to it and let us decide if we want to ruin it- or let us watch.

You may not have heard, but much of the mid-atlantic is in a drought.

The weatherpersons here try to sugar-coat it by describing it as
"moderate" drought, but folks, when deer and numerous other animals
are drinking from backyard birdbaths, there's a serious problem.

Anyway, a storm's here, we're getting horizontal rain, gale force winds and I'm standing in it. And liking it.
