Alaska

Post by awip2062 »

On Wednesday morning I'm going to get on a plane with my godmother and head up to Alaska for ten days.

The first part we will stay here:

http://www.puffininn.net/

and go out on the ocean twice. One day we will go out halibut fishing and the other on a boat sightseeing. We are supposed to see Puffins and whales and calving glaciers.

Then we will head up to the Kenai River to this place:

http://www.anglerslodge.com/

While there we will fish from drift boats for salmon and go sightseeing too.

Sooooo...keep posting so there's something here for me to read when I ged back.

I have my PDA set up so I can get online if I can find a hotspot. If I find one, I may check in. [/img]

I have a co-worker that takes the Trans-Alaskan Highway up there
every other year...

He said the RV's have to travel in caravans, and there's not much law
on that road at all, so you have to go packin' heat.

Lock and Load.....and pass the mukluks please. :-D

I wanna do the cruise thing up there....I hear it's breathtaking.
Don't start none...won't be none.

I hear there are Peruvians in Peru.

I shall take pictures, yes, and I might even share them with you all when I return! LOL

I will miss you lot, though. *sigh*
