When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Oh and t, I wear bangs too! But that's 'cause I got a scar from a car accident. (I was passenger, not driver)

Ya, when possible. It was my fault too, though. We were driving a woman home from a seminar we were all taking together. It was late, raining and she lived in a bad neighborhood in Harlem. We didn't want her on the subway that late so we gave her a ride. I was in the front seat and she in the back. She kept saying for me to be ready to JUMP out and let her out as soon as the car stopped because a bunch of guys might rush the car when they saw my lily white a**. (her words, not mine)awip2062 wrote:So are you never a passenger anymore to be sure of no more of that?
Nearing her block I undid my seatbelt so she could jump out as soon as I pulled the seat forward. JUST at that time the driver took a sharp turn (she was nervous too so late in the rain where we were) but RIGHT into a cement barricade and my forehead went into the rear-view mirror which broke in two in my skull. Nice evening in Harlem hospital with the gunshot wounds. I got the frig outta there and to my Dad's hosp. where he stitched me up.
Sooo...yes and no.
And bangs RULE!!
