I don't think it'd bug me so much if I wasn't celebrating these birthdays alone, you know what I mean?

And you're right, I shoudn't whine. Here at work I've put a sign on my wall that reads, "NO COMPLAINING" in big block letters. When someone comes in and asks, "How are you?" I point to the sign and say, "Oh, I can't complain". :-D
