...a mate trained me on this new delivery and warned me of a dangerous dog at 'The Hive' "leg it if you see him!". Today I broke the 50 meter rural lane running world record trying to escape his attention. This is 'Lumpy', who only wanted a dog biscuit

That's the thing, I really do carry them. Seriously, in my approaching ten years as a postie I've been bitten about eight times. None really serious but alarming all the same. I love dogs, I have a rottweiller myself but I always err on the side of caution...even with a poodle, I was attacked by a bloody corgi once, honest!, appearances are deceiving

My vet friend tells me that poodles bite more than pretty much any other breed...

I've heard that too, and Dobes are one that bites least, but they have a worse rep.
