Yep, I did post a pic from that song and Dawn made me explain why I was posing like that.

While I had a frog, the bass player's throat was really hurting. Two days later he learned he has ulcers in his throat.

I enjoyed watching those mate, especially your 'No Blues'. Kinda reminded me of late 60's Jethro Tull in feel and irony...good stuff. I could go for more of the bluesy material.
Wow, I find the drummers tom placement a little on the wide side but to each their own. Tight playing throughout, does he have a jazz background?
More, more... :-)

Thanks for the kind words.

I can't comment on his drum placement, because I know so little about drums. I assume it's kinda the same thing as how some guitarists wear their guitars up high and some sling them way down low... it's whatever you're comfortable with.

But I can comment on his background. His father played guitar and sang country music. When his sons were old enough he put one of them on the bass and the other on the drums and made them part of his band. They played country music all over Colorado and its neighboring states.

But, though he played country music live, his listening habits included Rush and Pink Floyd. So he came out of it all fairly well rounded.

That is cool. Perfect song for you guys. Could use a back and forth guitar solo section. You and your bro battling it out until climaxing with sliding the necks of your guitars together, making a long scraping sound, then back into the chorus :-)

You play lead fine, Elf. E really likes on solo in particular that you did, although I forged which track it was.

I seem to remember you saying something about him commenting on "Banana Seat". But I'm sure any of your kids could out-solo me.
