Problem with that plan though is that by the end of the first set, everybody in the audience will have aged 63.7 years but the band and road crew will have all reverted to about age three. And while I like the band and am deeply devoted to them, I am not changing any diapersspiders_are_eating_me wrote:I want them to play everything in reverse alphabetical order, starting wif the letter 6.

Yeah, but nobody should have to change Neil's diapers. He's sitting down the whole time and he's sweating....little poop cling-ons rubbed into his skin, and the acridity of persperation Oh and then you figure that the average age of the audience would be in the nineties (63.7 years + approximately 35 years of age) and man, you've got nothing but an acre of Depends and Huggies. Sheesh, that would be as bad as a Stones concert

MAFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!! *stalking Maff*
Ummm...Neil, Geddy, and Alex in diapers? Oh man! I don't care if I was 2062 years old, I'd change them! I think I could handle it too. I did it for my Opa when he was dying and I have been certified as a home health aid. I even learnt how to wash my hands and put on and take off the gloves properly!

Doon't have a full dream set list....geez, Geddy and Alex could stand up there and just play scales and Neil play rudiments and I'd still love to see them.
A couple songs I would love to see performed would include;
I would love to see them open with YYZ or Double Agent.
I want to hear them cover a Zeppelin song...Black Dog or Misty Mountain Hop would do nicely.
I would love to hear them do The Promise from Victor and either Still or Grace to Grace from My Favorite Headache.
I want Geddy to play a fretless for at least a couple of songs, including Red Lenses or Driven.
My most radical wish comes in the drum solo area, and I know Neil wouldn't do this because he's not an improvising drummer, but I would love to see him trade 4s with drummers like Max Roach, Elvin Jones, Ed Schaunessey, Joe Morello, Rod Morgenstein, Steve Smith, Billy Cobham. I would settle for watching him match licks with Buddy Rich, Gene Kruppa, or Cozy Cole (big band drummers who have had a huge impact on his playing)on the big screen a la the big band coda he played on the VT tour--by the way, trading 4s is a jazz term for when soloists trade off four-bar solos. The boys do this in the middle of YYZ.
A couple songs I would love to see performed would include;
- Peaceable Kingdom
Lock and Key
Beneath, Between and Behind
Circumstances
Digital Man
Territories
Twilight Zone

"Living in their Pools, they soon forget about the Sea..."
Now that i really think about it, wouldnt it be awesome if Ged did a nice long bass solo? Something a bit bigger than his usual solo during "Driven" anyway. Maybe even have Alex do a little solo work too, a pieces by themselves instead of parts of their songs. That's a dream i doubt will come true though.
