It's a 4x10.
One of the best places to buy high-end speakers and cabs without the high-end price is from these guys: http://avatarspeakers.com/
In fact, they have the best deal on new Celestion Vintage 30's that I've ever seen anywhere. Their cabs are great for the price too. In that pic I posted of my brother's granddaughter posing with his Les Paul, that's an Avatar cab underneath the Matchless head. It's a sweet cab, especially for the money.

Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?
Duly noted, and I've put the link in my "favorites" already.ElfDude wrote:It's a 4x10.

Thanx Elfie!

Have you tried an internet search for directions?CygnusX1 wrote:
you got it Elfie! And alas, the premier downfall - if you wanna call it that.. I love this guitar - is a toss-up between the Korean assembly, and the string-around / tune-o-matic type bridge.
I have no idea how you adjust intonation on THAT.
Onward and Upward!
none needed......in fact, it was damn near in tuneElfDude wrote:Does it need adjusting?
right outta the box!
I'll haveta look online for maintenance tips, like
t mentioned.
There's no "Owners' Manual" per se.
It included a short cable, wrenches and a truss rod
adjustment handout in the gig bag.
That's it. Whaddya want for 500 bucks? LOL

I would STRONGLY advise you not adjust the truss rod- Ive seen people snap necks doing it wrong. If the neck is goofy for some reason bring it to a pro.CygnusX1 wrote:none needed......in fact, it was damn near in tuneElfDude wrote:Does it need adjusting?

It had to be the best $40 I spent to get the Epi adjusted.

(3 pieces of paper to check gap under hi and low E
strings depressed on 7th[? can't remember - don't
have the sheet with me] and 12th frets).
but yes, they DID warn that this PRS truss rod has
a very short radius-of- turn to adjust it, and
they recommend having it done by pros too.

As a Sabbath fan, you KNOW what I'm talking abooooot. (hi Can-a-Da.)awip2062 wrote:Dude...Geezer plays the bass in Sabbath.....duh....even I know that.

I tend to go with .009s, but I like .10s for some things. I would have to have my floating bridge adjusted if I changed gauges though, so I stick with the nines.
I use .10 and up on the Kramer. the PRS strings are DEFINITELY lighter.

Cool beans. I meant i use a .10 SET on the Kramer. I don't know if they make bigger strings than that now, do they?awip2062 wrote:Yeah, but....it was just too easy to let slip past me!
They are prolly the nines. I think they are pretty standard for that type of guitar to start.
