I've never actually payed attention to his music, so I couldn't make a fair comment there.

I didn't check 1-90 on the list. Does Alex appear elsewhere in the list as well as at #94?

I don't, but an easy way to find out is to do a "completed items" search on eBay.

Did you do the customization yourself?

Yep...it's a '84 American Pacer Imperial (not made anymore)...the only thing stock is the body, neck and Schaller tuners. Refinished / repainted it, put 2 Vintage HOT Seymour pickups in it, kept the original Floyd Rose, totally rewired it, upgraded the treb volume pot, and had JUMBO frets and a new nut put on the neck.

really sweet strat-like performance (with double h/b's), and it's a three-knob...easy tone adjustments.

I use a 40W Crate amp now, but my next buy is gonna be something a little beefier. I also use a BOSS 4-pedal digital multi-effect and a Morley wah.

...now if I could just find some folks willing to do a "Rush Cover Project" :-D

Cool stuff. I'm sure it's a much sweeter instrument than it used to be. Unfortunately, American-made guitars lose market value when they are modified. It'll be tough to determine what it's really worth without putting it up for sale.

I gotcha Elfie....I agree, but it's one-of-a-kind nonetheless.

Other than being physically HEAVY (this is a HEAVY guitar to haveta hold all night), I absolutely love to play it.

nowhere NEAR the sustain of set-necks, but it barks the power chords quite nicely and decently holds notes....Lerxst would be pleased. :-D

I bought an '88 Kramer Baretta (American) in '88. It's completely stock and just as it was when bought new. Not sure what it's worth, but it has been a really great instrument all these 18 years. It's seen a little less action in the last 8 as I've been in love with my 7 string collection, but whenever I need to rip out some screaming "Floyd Rose" solos, I go for the KB.

I'm on the Kramer Forum site: http://www.kramerforum.com/forum/ , and they have some good info.

(Don't ask the KF Mod though...he'll only offer ya 50 bucks for it.....jokingly of course.) LOL

SWEETNESS! Is that a Seymour 'Trembucker' in there? Kickass.

you have the "beak" headstock. I have the "banana" headstock, but no decals yet. Debating whether to decal it or not. They still heve 'em (decals) believe-it-or-not!

here's mine:

(I took the tremolo bar off for the pic, but it's kickin' now.)

Good lookin' Kramers, you guys! :)

I recently made an eBay score. It's being stored away until Santa can give it to me for Christmas (my older daughter will also be getting an electric guitar for Christmas).

Mine is a 1999 Carvin DC135 with a bunch of options like a 10mm-thick flamed maple top and an Alan Holdsworth bridge pickup with a coil-splitting switch on it.

It's a neck-through design so it can sustain until the cows come home and the neck heel is way smooth and comfy. :)
