new truck

I still have the truck and the shit hit the fan when i pulled into the driveway Friday night. She talked to me last night for the first time all weekend. I told her I ain't getting rid of my truck either as it does not have anything to do with her budget. She can have my real job money, but the $600 a month I make on the paper route is mine. She gave me hell about making sacrifices when you have kids as I pointed to the lighted marlboro between her fingers. I told her when you stop smoking we can talk about making sacrifices. specially at $35 for a carton x 5 for the month, and I am sure that is on the conservative side. not a pleasant weekend at chez soup's. My truck is bad ass and it ain't going nowhere.

I don't care if she smokes, but she does not need to rag me about spending money. She told me that was a decision we needed to make together and I am like what? you said no. How was that a mutual decision? She just can't say no without a good reason, and because I said so is not a good reason. I am not one of her kids.

you put up a good argument Soupy, but to be fair, shouldn't ya have talked to her about it beforehand? Almost seems like you blindsided her with it....

what's done is done though. You have a new truck, and she should understand what you're telling her--about the smokes. lol

And yes, those smokes add up to some SERIOUS JACK at the end of a month.

Argh. I really hated arguments with the wife. Don't really care for arguments with the ex either. Both left/leave me feeling sick for days.

reminds me of when Sigette bought "ME" a desktop computer....She wound up taking it over (she loved MY computer so much), so...for her birthday the next year...I bought "her" a shotgun.
