*cleans construction debris from outer ear* WHAT???
I take it you're not a short track guy...
I was glued to the tube....I fall asleep during Michigan, Chicago, New Hampshire-type tracks...Flat tracks and 5-wide racing doesn't appeal to me very much...And the road courses.....*YAWN* puhleeeze...with one or two spots on the whole circuit to pass, it doesn't seem worth the effort... IMHO, the best part of a road course race... is watching cars go off-track into the sand berms, to see if they can get out of it without a tow...lol
Busch was wild and wooly NC was tame by comparison.CygnusX1 wrote:dude....what race were YOU watching?
you didn't notice some cars had NO FRONT ENDS, others had DONUTS and sheet metal missing? they hadda CUT what's-his-name outta the car...huh? or...was that the Busch race? can't remember...too many brewskis ago.
call me crazy, but it was typical Bristol if ya ask me...
Agree, but man...those Cup guys need to leave Busch to the youngsters....it's no fun watching Harvick run away with the Busch series.YYZ30 wrote:Busch was wild and wooly NC was tame by comparison.CygnusX1 wrote:dude....what race were YOU watching?

I agree with you too Soup....and I can remember Mark Martin getting his "frequent flyer miles" in Busch too...I HATED seeing him in Busch...it DIDN'T help him get a Cup championship THEN, and it isn't helping NOW either.Soup4Rush wrote:My thoughts exactly. It is BS cup guys are allowed to race Busch. If you are running a full cup schedule than you need to stay out of Busch. That should be a development league. How are young guys plus guys with not as much cash supposed to compete with the big names. ie Roush Hendrick etc coming in a taking all the spots, not to mention provisionals. Nascar will never do anything about it though, too much money at stake and the big names put butts in the seatsI almost hate Nascar anymore. It is become so marketed and civilized. It's grass roots racing for gosh sakes, Now freaking Toyota has invaded and F1, no offense to F1 but those guys have their own circuit. Why do they have to race Nascar? Nascar was all about good ole boys banging fenders. Nascar has turned its drivers into a bunch of sissies. all for the mighty dollar. and don't even get me started on PC. The reason there are no African Americans in the sport is the same reason you do not see 5 foot five white guys in the NBA. You know what I am talking about.
I'm withya bro....I'm American-of-Irish-Descent, not Irish-American.Soup4Rush wrote:I agree with that too. The term African American fries me as well. How bout putting America first, ie American African... or like you said just American. What if a caucasion person from South Africa, and there are, came to the United States. would they be an African American too. I would say most of the African Americans I know have never been out of Indiana much less Africa. I am tired of PC crap too. If someone says something that offends you mount and intelligent argument or deal with it.
