Best Drum-Sounding Album.
Is it just me or I think the Ludwig was the best sounding drum kit recorded by Neil, starting with Hold Your Fire. The Tama before and the Drum Workshop kits after (starting with Test For Echo) were just Ok to my ears. I am a toms fan and I love those deep resonant fills and the Lugwig toms sounded ...

If I have to pick only 1 Rush album to listen on a deserted island, it's Moving Pictures, a close second is Permanent Waves.

Go to their web site
Another way you can try is to go to their official web site, it's Rush.com.
I haven't try writing directly to the band.
I am on their mailing list and sometimes they sent me announcements and promotional stuffs concerning Rush.

Alex is underrated.
You probably have heard this many times but Alex is one of the most, if not the most underrated guitarists in rock. After listenning to all their popular songs I thought this man is talented both technically and musically, a rare combination not every guitarist posseses. He deserves to be up there w...

Different Stages.
Of course you can pick up all the live albums wich include Neil's solos, I have the Different Stages 3-CD set and it's awesome (recorded in 1996), never tire of listenning to it, of course the price is equivalent to 2 albums but it's worth it, trust me. The latest live set is the Rush In Rio CD's re...

Drum track of the day: Subdivision
My favourite drum track: Subdivisions. I have to admit the first time I heard Subdivisions I thought Neil was overplaying in the song, but now everytime I listen to it I always shake my head in amazment. If you check all the Rush tribute bands on the web none of them can get the drum track for this ...
